i.The short version
This policy covers the sthreelabs.com website. Our homepage, the crewCNX page and the AI check page use a few tools to see how people and companies find us, and one of them may recognize who you are. If you are in the EU, the UK or Switzerland, none of it runs until you accept. If you write to us, we keep what you send so we can reply (section v). Each of our apps has its own privacy policy, linked from its page, and this policy does not change any of them.
ii.What we use on the homepage, the crewCNX page and the AI check page
- Google Analytics counts visits and shows us how people arrive. It sets a cookie.
- PostHog (stored in the US) counts visits and clicks. It does not record your session. If you follow a link we emailed you, it can tie that visit to your email address so we know the message reached you.
- Apollo.io, our sales prospecting tool, tells us which companies visit the homepage and the crewCNX page. Its partner LiveIntent may match your visit to a hashed version of your email address using data those companies already hold, so we can see who looked.
Our app pages and the project form page use Google Analytics, to count visits and store taps. On every page, including this one, Cloudflare, which hosts this site, counts page views without cookies.
iii.What we do with it
We use it to understand who is interested in our work and, for businesses, to decide whom to contact about it. We do not sell it, and we do not share it beyond the tools named above.
iv.Your choice
If you are visiting from the EU, the UK or Switzerland, we ask first, and declining is one click. Nothing from PostHog, Apollo.io or LiveIntent loads, and Google Analytics sets no cookie, until you accept. Your choice is remembered in your browser. To change it, clear this site’s data in your browser and you will be asked again.
Anywhere else, you can block these tools with your browser’s tracking protection or a content blocker. The site works the same without them.
v.If you contact us, or we contact you
This part covers people who fill in our project form or AI check, email us, or hear from us about our work. The AI check’s score is worked out by fixed rules in your browser, not by AI.
- What we keep: your name, email address and company, your website if you give it, what you wrote to us, and our replies. For businesses we think we could help, we may also collect a work name, role, company and business email from business data providers or the company’s own website.
- How we use it: to answer you and to talk about your project. We write replies with the help of AI tools, and a person at sthreelabs approves each message before it goes out. The one exception is the instant “we got your message” email, which uses wording we approved in advance.
- Your choice: any follow-up email we send has an unsubscribe link. Once you opt out, we keep only your address on a do-not-contact list so we don’t contact you again. To have the rest deleted, email us.
To do this we use a few kinds of service providers: an email provider (sending and receiving mail), an AI service provider that helps draft and sort messages, a team chat service where we review drafts before they’re sent, and our CRM and hosting providers. They process your information only on our instructions, under contract, and not for their own purposes, and our AI providers do not use it to train their models.
