i.The short version

One Line in Time does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. Your entries stay on your device and in your private iCloud account.

ii.What data the app stores

One Line in Time stores the entries you write — a date and a line of text for each day. This data lives in two places:

Your device. The app keeps a local copy of your entries so it works offline.
Your private iCloud account. If you are signed into iCloud and have iCloud Drive enabled, Apple syncs your entries across your Apple devices. This data is encrypted by Apple and is accessible only to you. sthreelabs (the developer) cannot read your entries.

iii.What data the app does NOT collect

No analytics or usage tracking.
No crash reporting that includes personal data.
No advertising identifiers.
No location, weather, or mood auto-capture.
No contacts, photos, or other device data.
No account registration. There is no One Line in Time account or login.

iv.Third-party services

One Line in Time uses only Apple's iCloud (CloudKit) to sync your data across your devices. No other third-party services are used.

v.Children's privacy

One Line in Time is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13.

vi.Deleting your data

To delete your data, delete the One Line in Time app from your device. To remove the iCloud copy as well, after deleting the app go to Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → One Line in Time → Delete Data.

vii.Exporting your data

Your entries are yours. Use the in-app PDF export to generate a paperback-style document of any date range, which you can save, print, or share however you like.

viii.Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in any material way, the "Last updated" date above will change and the new policy will be posted on this page.
